The brief set by the client was to obtain planning consent for a residential end use, outside the development limits of Covenham for 2 pairs of semi-detached properties.
Having reviewed the planning history there were a number of planning refusals and dismissed appeals at the site based on the development being outside the development limits and within a countryside location.
Full planning permission was granted at planning committee, contrary to the officer’s recommendations for refusal on the sustainability issues around the village.
